THE VALUE OF A GIFT CAN BE DOUBLED !!
WYOMING CRITICAL ACCESS/RURAL HOSPITAL ENDOWMENT CHALLENGE PROGRAM
The 59th Legislature of the State of Wyoming appropriated four million dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the General Fund to the Critical Access/Rural Hospital Endowment Challenge Fund. This Fund is available to Memorial Hospital of Converse County as one of sixteen currently qualified facilities. The program will be administered over the next five years. The gifts or donations must be identified for endowment of critical access/rural hospital’s foundation and the endowment funds must be invested and managed by the critical access/rural hospital’s foundation board. In addition:
- There is no minimum gift level
- A signed pledge form, an endowment agreement letter, memo, or e-mail, check or evidence of transfer of the gift, or security all constitute a written commitment.
- The matching funds will be reserved by the State of Wyoming based upon a donor’s written commitment.
- Gift of property will also be eligible as long as the property that is given is to be converted to cash for endowment purposes.
- A donor may spilt his or her commitment in between one or more endowment purpose.
- If the donor requests anonymity for their gift, they will be treated as such when submitted to the State for endowment matching funds.
Converse County Memorial Hospital Foundation Board members want all of our supporters to be aware of the this program so that they can enhance their donations by either identifying a one time gift pledge/commitment as gift to the Memorial Hospital of Converse County Foundation’s Endowment Challenge Program Account. This is a tremendous opportunity to double the productivity and long term effectiveness of your donation to the Hospital Foundation program.
“Despite the fact Converse County Hospital Foundation supports other medical entities throughout Converse County this matching funds program is only for “Critical Access/Rural Hospitals”, making Memorial Hospital of Converse County the only entity eligible for this program.
It important that you are aware of this and mark your donation accordingly in order to take advantage of doubling your contribution to the Converse County Hospital Foundation.
Sincerely, Members of the Converse County Hospital Foundation”
