2008 ANNUAL CONVERSE COUNTY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION DINNER
On Saturday, November 8th, the Converse County Hospital Foundation hosted our annual dinner. This dinner is one of the events hosted annually to help raise funds for the foundation. The well attended dinner was a success with a delicious dinner served by the Moose Lodge, a very funny entertainer and a one lucky diner, Erin Hager, taking home $500 worth of travel. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and those who contributed financially to this event!!

Golf for Health Care Tournament

The Converse County Hospital Foundation’s annual golf tournament was held on Father’s Day again this year. One hundred and nine golfers turned out at the Douglas Golf Course to show their support for quality Health Care in Converse County and spend a little time on the course with Dad. Fun was had by all even though the day started out a little cold and breezy. Twenty-seven teams teed off at 8 am and finished golfing at 1 pm to enjoy a nice lunch at the Douglas Community Club. The winning team compromised of Jason Kleemeyer, Ryan Long, Toby Spence, and Rich Parks received $800 in Pro Shop credit. Second and third place along with multiple hole prizes were also awarded. Those attending the lunch also had the chance to win many great door prizes, one lucky player even walked away with a one-year membership (donated by Converse County Bank) to be used for next year’s golf season. The tournament was a success and organizers and players alike look forward to doing the whole thing over again next year.
