| We had Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Judy Garland, Rita Hayworth, Groucho Marx, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Janis Joplin, and Bruce Lee. There were a total of 14 suspects to the Murder. It was the attendees’ jobs to work together and solve the “who done it”. | ||
| Also there was an opportunity to purchase a glass of champagne. One lucky guest took home a diamond. | ||

So not a bad night out…Fun, Friendship, and Mystery. The murder was revealed to be JIMI HENDRICKS. The lucky guest who walked away with the Diamond was Dorothy Taylor. John Layman was the proud new owner of the Converse County Hospital Foundation Golf Cart that was being raffled off this year. The members of the Converse County Hospital Foundation would like to thank all that participated and be aware that not only was it a good night out but all proceeds from the evening go towards advancement of healthcare in Converse. Isn’t that something that we all can benefit from? “Thank-you to everyone involved with this event and especially Stan Mullinnix for his aid in the Diamond portion of our dinner.” |

Father’s Day Golf Tournament
Golf For Converse County Health Care
Sunday June 17th, 2007
Father’s Day golf, better than a tie courtesy of the Douglas Budget
The purpose was two-fold, but the result was singular. The Converse County Hospital Foundation Father’s Day Golf Tournament was held at the Douglas Community Club June 17. The tournament hoped to raise money and recognition for the Hospital Foundation as well as to promote individual health by giving families an opportunity to spend time together and golf on Father’s Day. The end result was fun for all.
Over 100 area fathers and their families compose 25 teams. The winning teams comprised of Jim Dona, Kirk Lehner, Wes McCullough and Tim McCullough, finished with a score of 51. The Van Rensselaer team of Todd, Art, Bret, along with Randy Rider, took second place by shooting 52. Third place was a tie between three teams. Toby Spence, Logan Spence, Ron Erickson and Rich Park scored 53 along with the team composed of J. Moore, B. Moore, A. Moore and Lanny Heflin. Rounding the tie was the team of Erik Nemnich, Gary Bollinger, Jim Bollinger, and Tom Bollinger.
The remaining teams were spread out from a score of 54 to a two way tie for the highest score of 71.
From the Converse County Hospital Foundation, we thank all that participated and supported this year’s tournament. We looking forward to another tournament next year.
